Program designed to launch global brands in China in under 30 days, in time for the 2021 6/18 shopping festival
Following the successful launch of the world’s first China E-commerce Accelerator Program last year, WPIC is now launching Batch III of the program.
Registration for the program opens on March 15, 2021, and will close on April 15, 2021.
Created in Spring 2020 to help brands struggling with the effects of Covid-19, WPIC’s China E-commerce Accelerator Program is designed to launch organizations in the Chinese market in under 30 days.
Last year, a number of organizations took advantage of the program, with WPIC facilitating successful market entry for brands operating in sectors such as toys, apparel, cosmetics and healthcare, food and beverage, and more.
“When we first launched this program, we were trying to help organizations that were negatively affected by the economic effects of Covid-19 by unlocking the Chinese market. However, it has resonated with a much wider audience globally, so we’ve decided to work with our partners at Alibaba and JD.com to unlock a third batch of slots — this time, to get brands up and running in China, ready for the 2021 6/18 shopping festival. If you’re interested in joining the program, please reach out and speak with our team.”
Joseph Cooke, President and Co-founder of WPIC Marketing + Technologies
What is 6/18?
The 6/18 shopping festival is one of the largest retail days in existence. Last year, Alibaba and JD announced that the event had generated more than $136.5 billion USD in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) between their two platforms.
Interested in participating in Batch III?
Interested organizations are asked to submit their paperwork in advance of the April 15, 2021 deadline. Accepted parties will be notified quickly thereafter to ensure brands are launched in advance of the 6/18 shopping festival.
